Chuck's ride is a poker run benefit started in September 2004 in honor of Spc. Charles "Chuck" Lamb. Chuck was killed during Operation Iraqi Freedom on September 5, 2004 during a mortar attack. He was a member of the 1544th transportation unit out of Paris, IL. This same year, three weeks after his death, a group of friends and family members decided to hold a poker run in his honor since he loved motorcycles so much. The run has been going every year since and gives a scholarship each year to one senior from Casey Westfield High School. We hope to continue the run for years to come to assist more young students in their education and to honor Chuck's memory.
